Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we accept all major insurance policies that approve speech, language, and occupational therapy services. We are a preferred provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota. We also accept Medicaid. We complete the necessary paperwork to approve your child for services, we keep that paperwork up-to-date, and keep our clients informed on any insurance issues.

What is the age range of your clients?
Our current caseload varies from 18 months of age to twelve years. We encourage early intervention, as research indicates response to therapy at an early age may greatly impact language understanding and use as children get older.
What diagnoses do you work with?
With regard to speech and language therapy, we provide services related to receptive and expressive language disorders, as well as articulation and phonological disorders (known as speech disorders). Many diagnoses can encompass these types of disorders, including autism, pervasive developmental disorder, Asperger’s syndrome, Down’s syndrome, Apraxia, and Central Auditory Processing Disorder, just to name a few. However, we extend our services to all levels of functioning, whether a child is just working on an /r/ sound, or if there’s several areas of impairment. With regard to occupational therapy, we provide services related to fine motor impairment, sensory disturbances, and self-care activities.
How much will private therapy cost me?
The patient responsibility for speech and occupational therapy is determined by your insurance company. If you have questions regarding your copay or coinsurance, we encourage you to call your insurance provider. For your convenience, Red Door Pediatric Therapy accepts credit cards.

How do I get started?
Contact us and we open the door to communication! We offer a FREE SCREENING of your child’s basic expressive and receptive language skills, as well as their articulation skills. Based on that screening, we may or may not recommend a formal evaluation. It’s that easy! If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s development, we strongly encourage you to contact us.
