“Leave your communication struggles on our
Doorstep!”
In addition to direct speech, language, and occupational therapy, Red Door Pediatric Therapy offers a functional communication enhancement program, known as the Doorstep Program. The Doorstep Program focuses on the development of a child’s whole language; incorporating functional, behavioral, and social development into fun and innovative activities. In designing our program we have made a conscious decision not to mold your child to fit into our program, but to individualize these activities to bring out the best in your child.

Our focus is this:
Differences:
we individualize our Doorstep Program to encompass
the learning abilities and differences of our
children.
Opportunity:
every door represents an opportunity for
communication and social learning. We encourage
kids to seize the opportunities!
Options:
We offer a morning program, an early afternoon
program, and an after-school program to best meet
your child’s needs, and provide the most
appropriate peer group for social learning.
Reinforcement:
The Doorstep Program was developed to reinforce
those skills being addressed in direct speech and
occupational therapy, and then work toward
incorporating those skills into a less structured
environment.
Social Communication:
The job of a child is to play and make friends. We
put your kids to work!
Team Approach:
The staff at Red Door collaborates to provide the
most beneficial and consistent approach to build on
your child’s success.
Exciting Environment:

essential to the structure of our Doorstep
Program.
